In the first quarter of 2023, the top music and podcast apps on the Android platform in Lebanon showcased varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Anghami: Play music & Podcasts experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $255 in mid-March. Weekly downloads started the quarter strong with over 2K but saw a downward trend, ending March with about 1.2K. Active users also showed a decline, decreasing from 60K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 41.8K by the end.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, reaching up to $14 by mid-March. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, averaging around 1.2K to 1.8K throughout the quarter. Active users exhibited a slight decline from about 253K in late December to 237K by the end of March.

Apple Music had modest weekly revenue, peaking at $8 at the end of February. Downloads ranged between 335 and 556 weekly, with active users remaining relatively stable, fluctuating around the 9K mark.
